A naive rural heir trades his humble existence for the opulence and excess of New York City, struggling to adapt to his newfound wealth and discover his true identity amidst the city's fast-paced and often reckless culture.

Henry Haskell, a farmer from Oklahoma, strikes oil and becomes a millionaire. He travels to New York to fulfill his lifelong dreams, but his life is turned upside down when he becomes the star of a radio show, with women clamoring for dates with him.
