Three young outsiders, Ross, Penny, and Crash, from different backgrounds, embark on a journey to a massive punk concert. Along the way, with the influence of drugs, alcohol, and punk music, Ross transforms his dark outlook on life and finds a new sense of purpose. His mother, Trish, who raised Ross alone in her steampunk shop, discovers he's in crisis and enlists the help of his "uncles," Bob's old friends, to find him. The group reunites at the concert, forcing them to confront their unresolved relationships with Bob.
