A decaying Russian satellite crashes on the island, providing a crucial component for a barometer, which the Professor uses to predict a massive wave. The castaways join their huts together to survive the disaster, but the hut is swept out to sea. As they struggle to contain a fire started by Gilligan, they're oblivious to a naval helicopter's attention, which leads to their rescue. Returning to Hawaii, they find things have changed, and they must adapt. However, Russian spies are now pursuing them, seeking the key component that Gilligan wears as a necklace.
