A cowboy-hat-wearing, sword-wielding "Samurai Priest Vampire Hunter" is on a quest for revenge against a group of vampires seeking "pure blood" as humanity's polluted blood supply causes mutations and infighting among the covens. The hunter leaves a trail of dispatched vampires, marked with his signature playing card, and is hot on the heels of a coven led by Benedikt, who is trying to protect his family and find clean blood. The vampires are hunted by the Samurai Priest in a cat-and-mouse game, with the stakes raised by the introduction of a neutral blood dealer, Macks, in Los Angeles.
