Alex, a Harvard-bound student, secures a summer internship in D.C. but it falls through, forcing him to seek alternative arrangements. He turns to his cousin Roger, who claims to be an aquatic engineer, and lands a job with him. Unbeknownst to Alex, Roger is actually a pool boy in Beverly Hills. The two concoct a plan to create a fake internship, but things take a turn when Roger gets the idea to run a brothel in the absence of the mansion's owner, who is away on holiday for six weeks. As the scholarship interview approaches, Alex must navigate the increasingly complicated situation.
