Lupe, a former pop-rock star, has abandoned her past and now lives a reclusive life, dependent on her mother Paquita. Her agoraphobia prevents her from leaving the house, but Paquita, a loving and superstitious woman, takes care of her and her teenage son Pancho, who despises Lupe. However, Paquita's health is declining, and she's determined to prepare her family for her impending death.
