In the isolated Brazilian town of Bacurau, the death of a respected elder sparks a series of bizarre and ominous events. As the villagers struggle to come to terms with their loss, they face a multitude of inexplicable challenges, including a severed water supply, wild animals roaming the streets, and the sudden appearance of empty coffins.
