Chris, a prominent figure in the Austin indie scene, has been a part of over thirty "Slackavetes" films at SXSW, including leading roles in Lovers of Hate and Computer Chess, both of which had their world premieres at the Sundance Film Festival. The latter, directed by Andrew Bujalski, was also nominated for an Independent Spirit John Cassavetes Award. In addition, Chris has had the privilege of showcasing his work at the Cannes Film Festival, including the premiere of Krisha, directed by Trey Shults, and Bacurau, which took home the Grand Prix award in 2019.
Before his acting career took off, Chris spent his high school summers working as an apprentice at the Hampton Playhouse, a summer stock theatre in his adopted hometown. Although the playhouse has since been renamed and is no longer in operation, it holds a special place in Chris's heart as the starting point of his journey in the entertainment industry. He would like to extend his gratitude to John and Alfred for their support and guidance during that time.
