A group of nine men, including Sheriff Bill Cummings, set out to capture Apache Jack, who has murdered Lopez's wife. As they track him into Indian country, they stumble upon a hidden oasis with a valuable silver vein. However, Sheriff Cummings refuses to let them file a mining claim, and tensions rise when Eaton disappears and Cluff is killed in an ambush, leaving the posse trapped and vulnerable to an unknown enemy.
