The movie follows Derek, a successful musician and single father of a 14-year-old daughter, and Casey, a lawyer and mother of three, including a 14-year-old son named Luca. Luca, who loves video games, pranks, and pushing boundaries, often clashes with his strict mother. When their parents visit their new home, Derek and Casey are reunited after a long time, but this time their teenagers, not them, are at odds.
