Laurent is a multitalented individual who excels in various creative fields. As a bilingual actor, he has showcased his versatility by taking on diverse roles in television and film. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of "Big Time" in the final season of Hulu's "Future Man" and his chilling performance as Andrew Kay in the true-crime series "The Detectives" on CBC.
In addition to his on-screen work, Laurent is also a talented writer, director, and coach. His scriptwriting skills were showcased in the short film "Give Time", which premiered in 2020 and went on to win several awards, including Best Short Film at the Ontario International Film Festival and the Toronto International Lift-Off Film Festival.
Laurent's accomplishments continued to grow in 2021, as he appeared in the film "Peace by Chocolate", which tells the inspiring true story of Syrian refugees. He also starred in the sci-fi film "Stranded", which explores the theme of suicide. His performance in "Give Time" earned him a Best Actor win at the YES!
