Eddie Jones, a government-employed eliminator, is tasked with eliminating people the government deems problematic. Despite his deadly profession, he remains a devoted Catholic, opting for celibacy to bargain for his soul with God. His boss, Middleman, arranges a date for Eddie with Lois Newton, and despite initial mishaps, they fall in love. However, when Eddie decides to leave his job, his former bosses, Middleman and Frank, order his elimination.
