Max, a secret service agent, is temporarily stationed at the White House while his canine partner Charlie is on maternity leave. He forms a bond with TJ, the 12-year-old son of the President, who is struggling to balance his normal life with his high-profile father's duties. When the Russian President and his daughter Alexandra (Alex) visit, TJ is tasked with accompanying Alex, and the two form an unlikely friendship. However, when they find themselves in a sticky situation, Max must use his skills to save the day.
