San Antone background

San Antone

A conflicted cowboy finds himself entangled in a love triangle between a woman promised to a brutal Confederate commander and his own sense of duty, as he struggles to reconcile his feelings with his post-war responsibilities.

A former Union soldier, now a cowboy, embarks on a perilous cattle drive into French-occupied Mexico, where a bloody conflict between the French and Mexican revolutionaries led by Benito Juarez is unfolding. In exchange for the freedom of 50 prisoners, he agrees to lead the drive, driven by a personal vendetta against a former Confederate officer who had betrayed him in the past.
