A retired Lt. Col. in the US Army, Frank, is a stubborn and difficult individual who is also blind. Charlie, a student, is tasked with taking care of Frank over Thanksgiving in exchange for easy money to fund his university plans. However, Charlie soon discovers that Frank has other plans, including a trip to New York City for the holiday.
