Better Off Dead...

Teenage Lane Meyer, heartbroken after his girlfriend Beth dumps him for a successful skier, tries to improve his skiing skills to impress her. He befriends a French exchange student, Monique, who helps him fix his car and teaches him how to ski the K12 slope. As Lane challenges his rival Roy in a competition, he must navigate his feelings for Monique and confront his insecurities.
