Two penguins, Op and Ed, are thrust from their 1835 Galapagos home to modern-day Shanghai, where they're disoriented by the unfamiliar city. As they navigate this new world, they stumble upon a shocking truth: their kind has vanished from existence.

Two fluffy, hole-centered Flummels are mysteriously transported to the present day, only to discover their species has gone extinct and is forgotten. They embark on a perilous journey through time to prevent their kind from vanishing forever.
