Torontonian friends Kevin, Sam, and Rob engage in a game called Foolproof, planning elaborate heists without intending to carry them out. Their rules include no loaded guns and no violence. Their lives take a turn when someone steals their latest plan from Sam's apartment, revealing themselves as Leo "The Touch" Gillette, a notorious thief. Gillette blackmails them into helping him with a $20 million bond theft, using their skills to map and execute the plan.
