A teenager obsessed with monsters, Earl Williams, fantasizes his life as if he's living among Universal Studios' creature world. Despite being a good student, his strict teacher, Mrs. Perdue, disapproves of him and punishes him for minor mistakes. Earl's supportive father, Les, is a dreamer who never achieved success, and when he passes away, Earl's mother struggles to care for their two sons, trying to change Earl's behavior. One day, Earl discovers a "true Frankenstein" from a Carnival and decides to bring the monster back to life.
Frankenstein and Me
A teenager's creativity is sparked by classic horror films, particularly Frankenstein and Night of the Living Dead, released in 1968.
