Beki Lantos, a talented performer born in Ottawa, Ontario, has been passionate about the arts since her early days. Her journey in the entertainment industry began when she sang with her family on Sundays, eventually leading to regular performances across the city. By the tender age of nine, she was already performing on television and in theater productions.
Her remarkable talent was recognized early on, as she won a singing competition on Ottawa CTV's "Homegrown Cafe" at the age of ten. At eleven, she released her debut album, "Here I Am," and went on to land the lead role of Annie in the Company Musical Theater production of the same name.
As she grew older, Beki continued to pursue her passion for music, forming the band "Tangleroot" with her family at the age of thirteen. As the lead singer, bassist, and songwriter, the band released two albums, "Tangleroot" and "In Pieces," before disbanding six years later. Throughout this time, Beki never lost her interest in television and film, completing her first feature film screenplay at the age of fourteen.
After the band split, Beki started her family, welcoming her son Austin Henderson in 2002, followed by her husband Adam Lantos and daughter Emelyn Lantos in 2004. As her children grew older, Beki's focus shifted from acting to singing and performing in local venues in and around the Lower Mainland of BC.
Despite taking a break from acting, Beki's love for the arts has never faded. She continues to write and hopes to bring one of her film projects to life in the future.
