A 14-year-old prodigy, Eli Pettifog, attends Whittman College after being rejected by Harvard, where he clashes with others initially. He forms an unlikely bond with Leo Searly, a 41-year-old freshman who has hit rock bottom and enrolled in college to turn his life around.
