Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey star as former members of an 80s new romantic pop group in the British comedy-drama "Hunting Venus". The story follows Simon, a small-time conman who evades the police by robbing pensioners, and his reconnection with a loyal fan, Cassandra. After being drugged and nearly harmed by Cassandra and her friend Jacqui, Simon is forced to re-form his old band, "The Venus Hunters", for a one-night-only TV appearance. However, his former bandmates have no love lost for Simon and nearly attack him upon reunion.
