In the countryside near New York, Djuna, a vampire, lives with her housemaid Irene in a manor owned by her friend Xenia. She falls in love with screenwriter Paolo at a video rental store and they quickly become intimate. However, Djuna's vampiric nature takes over, turning Paolo into a vampire as well.
