Knute Rockne All American

Lars Rockne and his family move to Chicago from Norway in 1892. His son Knute saves up to attend Notre Dame University, where he excels in football and chemistry. Knute and a teammate invent the forward pass and use it to beat Army in a historic game. He becomes a full-time coach, developing talented players like George Gipp and the Four Horseman, and introducing innovative tactics like the backfield shift.
