Former NYPD detective Ben Carson, a recovering alcoholic, takes a job as night watchperson at the remains of the Mayflower Department Store, seeking redemption. He discovers the mirrors are meticulously clean, a quirk of his predecessor. As he settles into the role, Ben begins to see eerie images in the mirrors, but his ex-wife Amy attributes it to hallucinations caused by his medication, given his troubled past. However, when his sister Angie is found brutally murdered in her bathtub, Ben realizes an evil force is haunting the mirrors, putting his family in danger.
