In the 15th century, Prince John of Anwyn agrees to marry Lothian Princess Gwendolyn to end a three-hundred-year war between their kingdoms. However, he is caught with a peasant woman on his wedding day, and he and his squire Rodney are cursed to remain frogs for eternity unless a maiden kisses John and marries him. Five centuries later, they are still frogs until a boy captures them and they escape to Central Park, where a woman named Margo kisses John, breaking the curse.
