Some Kind of Beautiful

A Cambridge literature professor leaves his prestigious job to follow his heart to California, where he falls in love with a socialite and inherits a grand villa. However, his relationships with his love and her bossy sister spiral out of control, while he becomes devoted to their young son and gets caught up in a life of indulgence. The situation becomes even more complicated by new romantic entanglements and the looming expiration of his immigration status.
