David Saucedo, a multifaceted individual with a rich background, was born in El Paso, Texas to immigrant parents. His introduction to the world of acting came surprisingly late in life, during his sixth-grade talent show, where he lip-synced to Elvis's G.I. Blues as part of a group performance.
Throughout his career, David has made numerous appearances on television series, including recurring roles in Arrested Development, Shameless, and a guest star role in Mayans, M.C. He recently co-starred in the season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Furthermore, he has accumulated an impressive portfolio of commercial roles, featuring Voya Finacial Services, Babbel, GoodRx, and Apple, to name a few.
One of his early notable roles was alongside Mexican television royalty, Angelica Vale, in the lead role of "No Me Hallo." The show, initially intended as a web series, gained significant success online, prompting Univision to also air it on their network. David's subsequent role in Paranormal Activity; The Marked Ones, directed by Christopher Landon, marked the second time he worked with director, writer, and producer Oren Peli. Prior to this, he had collaborated with Oren Peli on the project "Area 51."
David has also shared the screen with esteemed actors such as Salma Hayek in "How to Make Love to an Englishman" and Bai Ling, Tom Sizemore, and Dominique Swain in "6 Ways to Sundown." He spent a month filming in Seattle, Washington, alongside Bill Oberst Jr. and Jason Vail in "Valley of the Sasquatch," playing the role of Sergio Guerrero.
As a horror enthusiast, David has worked on several projects in this genre, including "Circle" and "Savageland." Notably, he has also appeared in music videos, such as The Cataracs' "All You," which garnered over three million hits on YouTube, and On Theory of a Deadman's "Hurricane," featuring Andy Dick, where he played a police officer.
David's unique background includes a stint as a former funeral counselor, which he believes has helped him better understand the characters he portrays. In addition to his acting career, he has owned a coffee house/art gallery, operated a small indie record label, played punk rock music, and is a photographer and ordained minister. As a testament to his versatility, he even helped clear out the famous old Swabs Pharmacy in Hollywood, one of his many odd jobs.
