A group of Eastern European militiamen hijack a military vehicle carrying surface-to-air missiles in a desolate region near Turkey. An American sniper, Charlie Snow, takes out three of the hijackers, but the leader, Yevon, escapes and vows revenge. Charlie is extracted by a helicopter and returns to Los Angeles, only to be confronted by Yevon, who takes his wife hostage.
