The Yellow Tomahawk background

The Yellow Tomahawk

A contentious treaty is overlooked, and a fortified outpost is erected on hallowed Native American territory, sparking a calamitous conflict.

In the Wyoming Territory, tensions rise as the Army builds a new fort on Cheyenne lands, defying a treaty. Scout Adam Reed, with friendly ties to the Cheyenne, is asked to deliver a warning message to Major Ives, but he's not taken seriously. The Major's refusal to listen sparks a confrontation, and Reed is forced to remain in the camp to prevent him from returning to the Cheyenne. Despite his warnings, the Major orders the construction of a reinforced defensive compound, unaware of the impending attack.
