Madison McBride, a teenager, joins Richard Miller University to overcome her trauma after her father's death and her brother's suicide. As they navigate their new lives, they discover that their dorm was once an asylum in the 1930s, where Dr. Magnus Burke, a notorious doctor, treated troubled teenagers with controversial methods. The group soon realizes that their dorm is haunted by Dr. Burke's vengeful spirit, seeking out tortured souls.
