Travis Van Winkle's acting career has effortlessly traversed both the television and film industries, showcasing his versatility and range as a performer. On the small screen, Van Winkle held a starring role for five seasons on TNT's high-concept drama "The Last Ship", and was a series regular alongside Alan Cumming in the CBS drama "Instinct". CBS subsequently brought him back as a series regular in the drama pilot "Good Sam". Currently, he is set to appear as a series regular in Netflix's season three of "You". Notably, Van Winkle has also had recurring roles on The CW's "Hart of Dixie" and ABC'S "Happy Endings", as well as numerous guest appearances throughout his career.

He has also served as a Global Ambassador to the non-profit organization buildOn, utilizing his platform to inspire his creative network to raise over $300,000 and assemble on-the-ground teams to build schools in Haiti, Nepal, Nicaragua, Malawi, and Senegal.
Born in Victorville, California, Van Winkle's early life was marked by frequent relocations due to his parents' Air Force responsibilities, with the family eventually settling in Hollywood when he was 20 years old.
