A mysterious figure teleports into Bellwood, wreaking havoc and prompting Heatblast, Ben Tennyson's alien form, to confront him. After a brief battle, Ben seemingly defeats the villain, who is revealed to be Eon, an alien captured by the Plumbers nearly two centuries ago. Eon's arrival brings a device called the Hands of Armageddon, which could open a time rift to his home dimension and unleash his race on Earth if activated. Ben and his grandfather, Max Tennyson, search for Eon, only to find his containment facility empty and his guardian on the brink of death.
