When Frank's stolen songs are discovered, the boys are falsely accused of extortion and arrested. However, they're fortunate to be sharing a cell with Pete, whose gang helps spring them. To clear their names and prove the songs belong to Frank, the boys and Patsy organize a show in a local theater, enlisting the help of neighborhood kids to paint the scenery and perform.
