The movie explores the devastating consequences of communal violence on a Muslim community in Gujarat, revealing the personal struggles and desperate attempts to survive in the aftermath of the conflict.

In the aftermath of Gujarat's devastating riots, a young woman named Arati is consumed by guilt for not opening her door to a injured Muslim woman during the chaos. Her husband Sanjay's actions, including looting and her brother-in-law's brutality towards Muslim women, weigh heavily on her conscience. Meanwhile, a young boy named Mohsin risks his life to search for his father, who is nowhere to be found. A famous musician, Jahangir Khan, finds himself isolated and struggling to cope with the tragedy. As the city tries to rebuild, a Muslim family, Sameer and Anuradha, decides to relocate to Delhi, while a Hindu woman, Jyoti, is accused of setting a Muslim's house on fire. Amidst the chaos and destruction, a group of Muslim men discovers a gun and seeks vengeance against their oppressors.
