In the midst of a plane crash in the jungle, a baby named George survives and is adopted by a wise ape. Years later, George, now grown, saves a noble woman named Ursula from a safari tragedy and takes her to the jungle to live with him. As George learns about human relationships, Ursula's lover Lyle searches for her and the person who rescued her. Eventually, Ursula takes George to the United States, introducing him to a new world and teaching him about human society.
