Michael Woods invites his cousin Tommy to Los Angeles, but ignores him and makes him feel unwelcome. After a series of mishaps, including a car accident and a disagreement, Tommy leaves and Michael is punished by being sent to work at his cousin's ranch for a month. There, he and Tommy put aside their differences and work together to save the ranch from foreclosure, teaching Michael valuable lessons about loyalty and love.
