Joey Lawrence was born Joseph Lawrence Mignogna III on April 17, 1976, in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He is an American actor, singer, and television personality. Lawrence's parents, Joseph Lawrence Mignogna Sr. and Donna Lynn Shaw, were an insurance broker and a personnel manager, respectively. He has English, Italian, and Scottish ancestry.
Lawrence began his career in show business as a child, appearing in commercials and television shows.
