A young filmmaker, Sue, travels to India to make a movie about Indian revolutionaries. She is aided by her friend Sonia, who introduces her to a group of friends, including Karan, Aslam, Sukhi, and their leader, DJ. As Sue begins casting for her film, she decides to feature DJ and his friends, as well as Laxman, a politician who opposes their Western influences. Despite initial tensions, the group comes together, but their joy is short-lived. Tragedy strikes when Sonia's fiancé, Lt. Ajay Rathod, dies in a plane crash, saving everyone else on board. The government blames Ajay for the accident, sparking outrage among his friends. DJ and his friends vow to fight for justice, but their efforts are hindered by political games and corruption.
