Rogues of Sherwood Forest background

Rogues of Sherwood Forest

A young Robin Hood leads a daring uprising against King John's tyrannical rule, gathering his father's old allies to fight for liberty, fairness, and an end to oppressive taxation and cruelty.

Robin, the son of Robin Hood, is a respected nobleman at King John's court. However, his fame and riches make him a target for King John's vengeful plans. After a failed assassination attempt, King John declares Robin an outlaw and orders his arrest. With the help of Lady Marianne, Robin escapes and joins his father's old friends in Sherwood Forest, recruiting common people and nobles to fight against King John's oppressive rule. As King John's plans to import Flemish mercenaries become known, Robin's allies join his cause, and they work to disrupt King John's tax collection and execution of innocent people. If defeated, King John faces the threat of signing a Magna Carta, limiting the king's powers.
