Miami drug kingpin Tom Rampy uses advanced tactics to evade authorities, including high-speed boats and sophisticated technology. To counter this, wealthy boat designer Ben Bishop creates a special task force, the River Intelligence Unit, and assigns a diverse group of law enforcement agents to work together to take down Rampy. The team, which includes a former Rampy employee turned informant, must overcome their differences and learn to trust each other as they race against time to stop Rampy's drug-smuggling operation.
