As Maria II debuts as a singer, she inadvertently creates a sensation, popularizing the art of striptease and propelling the circus to fame. But their newfound success takes an unexpected turn when they cross paths with a socialist revolutionary, sparking a chain of events that leads them to become leaders of a rebellion against the ruling elite, including the dictator, capitalists, and the Church.
