In Los Angeles, artist Sonny Malone returns to his job at Airflow Records, creating exact album cover renderings, after struggling to make a living as a freelance artist. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Kira, a young woman who rollerskates into him, and discovers she is a muse sent to help him achieve his artistic vision. Sonny's new path is intertwined with Danny McGuire, a former musician turned construction company owner, who wants to open a live music venue. As Sonny and Danny pursue their dreams, Kira's actions threaten to disrupt their progress.
