A recently deceased couple, Adam and Barbara, find themselves struggling to coexist with a new family moving into their beloved home. Despite their best efforts to scare them away, the family's chaos and noise become too much to bear. Desperate for help, they summon the bizarre and mischievous spirit Beetlejuice, who has his own agenda and may not be the solution they were hoping for.
