Blood Oath background

Blood Oath

In the midst of World War II, Australian prisoners of war on the Indonesian island of Ambon suffered under the merciless treatment of their Japanese captors, leaving only a handful of survivors.

In 1945, on the island of Ambon in Indonesia, a mass grave containing 300 executed Australian POWs is discovered, leading Chief Prosecutor Capt. Cooper to suspect Japanese Commander Baron Takahashi of ordering the massacre. With the only potential witness going mad and no captured airmen found alive, Cooper must rely on finding the bodies of a shot-down reconnaissance plane's four-man crew to build a case against Takahashi. However, American officer Maj. Beckett seems reluctant to see the Baron convicted, and a breakthrough comes when Christian communications officer Lt. Tanaka surrenders.
