Nick's illustrious career in theatre began with his graduation from the esteemed National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1980. His extensive repertoire includes prominent roles in productions such as Taming of the Shrew, which was staged in Melbourne in 1998 and Sydney in 1998 and 1999, and A Midsummer Night's Dream, a collaboration with Elston Hocking and Woods Productions.
Nick's impressive credits also include starring roles in Macbeth, Three Sisters, Waya, The Crucible, Summer of Aliens, Two Weeks with the Queen, Furious, and Third World Blues, all of which were performed by the renowned Sydney Theatre Company. Furthermore, he appeared in Extremities for Playbox, The Sentimental Bloke and True West for Q Theatre, In Duty Bound for Marion Street Theatre, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for the Melbourne Theatre Company, and Gary's House and Gulls for the State Theatre Company SA.
In recent years, Nick took on the role of a lifetime in the Hot House Theatre Production of Big Hair in America, directed by the talented Marion Potts. Throughout his illustrious career, Nick has been recognized with numerous awards and nominations, including an AFI and Logie Award for his performance in Vietnam, a Penguin Award for GP, and a nomination for an AFI for his performance in Fragments of War.
