A Christmas Day storm system unleashes a catastrophic series of severe tornadoes, wreaking havoc on the Texas region southwest of Fort Worth.
In a small Texas town, a meteorologist and his wife, both working in the field, are woken in the middle of the night by a tornado that has just hit. As they try to save others and rescue their missing children, they must put aside their marital issues and work together to survive the disaster.
