In a reclusive life, criminal psychologist Helen Hudson, once an expert on serial killers, now struggles with agoraphobia after a traumatic encounter with accused killer Daryll Lee Cullum. When a new wave of murders occurs, Helen identifies the killer as a copycat who's targeting notorious serial-killers and anonymously contacts the police. As she's drawn back into the investigation, Helen teams up with detectives M.J. and Reuben to profile the killer, but soon finds herself stalked by the copycat, Peter Foley.
