Rodney, a struggling and heartbroken man, hits rock bottom when his girlfriend cheats on him. With no direction, he drives aimlessly until his car breaks down in front of a stranger's house. The next morning, he's awakened by June, a widow who accuses him of stealing her electricity. Instead of calling the police, June decides to put Rodney to work around the house.
