Asif and Rashmi, who defied their parents' wishes to get married, are living a happy life. However, things take a dark turn when they're invited to their 25th anniversary celebration at Rashmi's mother's house, which is rumored to be haunted. A nearby bungalow, number 6, is said to be cursed, and a mysterious corpse is buried beneath the cricket pitch where Asif plays with the kids. As the family notices strange occurrences, they seek the help of a spiritual guru, who reveals that the house is home to a powerful spirit. Asif becomes possessed by this entity, and his behavior and appearance transform, leaving him to identify as Laxmi, a female, and wear bangles.
